No, Referrers and Employers can join Reffster for free. Currently Employers and Recruiters can advertise jobs on Reffster for free but in the coming months job posting charges will follow.

Yes, all members details are kept safely and are never shared with any third parties. The data is protected under our privacy policy.

As a Referrer you can have only one account. As an Employer you are joining on behalf of the company you work for and can have as many accounts as you ask for.

FAQ for Referrers
Can I refer myself for a job?
No you cannot refer yourself for a job but you can ask your friend to refer you and when you get the job you can share the reward with your friend.

If I apply directly will I be eligible for the reward?
No, isn’t getting a job for yourself a Reward by itself? If you feel the job advertised is suitable to you, please go ahead and apply, but do not expect a monetary Reward.

If I am a professional recruiter, is there any advantage of collaborating with Reffster as a referrer?
Sure there is. This is a good opportunity for recruiters to collaborate with Reffster (Please write to us at arjun@reffster.com) and to leverage your data bases to earn commission in the form of a Reward. After all, you know the candidate better than us -- both passive and active candidates in the job market-- and your research on them can earn you a reward instead of the candidate Resume remaining dormant with you (and picked up by some other recruiter for a job that may not come your way). And this in no way comes in the way of the regular clients you are servicing.

Can I refer my friends directly, without letting them know?
No you cannot refer your friends directly. You will have to forward them the Job details through your Reffster account. Once your friends are convinced about the role they themselves will upload their details.

How many people can I refer for each Job opening?
Kindly refer only the most suitable and relevant candidates for openings on Reffster. Your reputation as a Referrer is at stake and we will be monitoring your referrals. Incase we notice that you are making to many irrelevant referrals your ratings will go down which will effect your cash reward earning capability. Incase we see that you are abusing our process your account will be deactivated.

What is a successful referral?
A successful referral is when a Candidate referred for a position is employed by the Employer and joins the company. The candidate needs to work in the company for a period of 1 Month for the Referral process to be complete.

How do I know when a referral has been successful?
We strongly recommend you to keep in touch with your Candidate and track the progress of your Referral and inform us when you believe your candidate has joined the company. It is our duty as well to keep you updated on the status of your Candidate and inform you of a successful referral.

What happens if the same candidate is referred by two different Referrers?
Irrespective of how many references a candidate receives for a particular job what matters is which reference/referrer they chooses to apply through. Reffster only allows the candidate to apply ONCE for a particular job.

When and how will I get paid?
We will pay you within 48 hours of us receiving payment from the Employer. You can choose to receive a cheque or be paid directly into your bank account. Our payment to you will only be made once we have received payment of the Reward from the Employer. Kindly note that payments made to Referrers outside of India may be delayed by the International Clearing System. Any costs and expenses incurred by you in respect of the payment method will be borne by you.

Who will be responsible for paying taxes due on my Reward?
You are responsible for paying any taxes as a result of our payment to you of the Reward.

How can I claim my Reward?
Once you inform us about a successful referral through ‘Claim my Rewards’ application and once we have verified with the client we will immediately get in touch with you and start processing your reward. Rewards that have not been claimed for more than 60 days will be cancelled.

While product branding has been prevelant through advertising, potential employees need a forum to understand the benefits and career advancement opportunities that they can get from companies who are advertising job vacancies. Also referrers and candidates need to know the culture of an organisation so that they can match the profile of the candidate they are referring or applying for. Reffster provides that platform to Employers free of cost. You can update this regularly too.
